In Orbit (2025)

For this series of mixed media, I reimagined everyday objects as cosmic bodies.

This project was inspired by NASA’s photos of space that I saw at the Science Museum as a child. Every time my Dad and I visited, those photographs felt strange, alien and sublime. I also drew inspiration from the 1950s sci-fi aesthetic, to emulate the eerie distortions of early space footage and the dreamlike stills from films like Forbidden Planet (1956).
